Ancient Kauri Pricing

Pricing for Ancient Kauri:

1 inch thick boards (4/4), flat sawn grain = $25 per board foot.
1 inch thick boards (4/4), active grain = $35 per board foot.
1 inch thick boards (4/4), quarter sawn = $50 per board foot.
1 inch thick boards (4/4), flamed quarter sawn stock = $60 per board foot.
2 inch thick boards = $32 per board foot.
2 1/2 inch to 4 inch thick boards = $35 per board foot.
Large and small turning blocks = $35 per board foot and up.
Table bases cut from the stump = $25 per board foot.
Veneers begin at $3 per square foot.

Price increases depending on the thickness, or grain activity, exceptional, flamed, burled or quarter sawn.
Our stock is all rough cut.
We can plane and/or sand your wood at our shop rate of $45 per hour.

The prices above do not include shipping and packing charges.
We will let you know those charges before we ship.

We ship single pieces as well as huge orders.
We will cross-cut some of these boards to the length you order, you do not have to buy a whole board.
Please note, no boards will be cut or shipped until paid for.

Return Policy
We at Ancientwood, Ltd. will do our best to present a fair and accurate representation of Ancient Kauri to you.
If you have purchased a piece of Ancient Kauri and are not satisfied, you may return it for an exchange, less shipping and a 5% restocking fee.
If the Ancient Kauri has been cut, milled, shaped or in any other way, by Ancientwood, Ltd. or another person, it is not returnable.
Ancientwood, Ltd. will not pay for return shipping costs.
Any returned checks are subject to a $25 charge.
