Ancient Kauri for sale - 'Wet & Green' Timbers

Wood turners and carvers have requested 'green' wood to work with.
It is difficult to imagine, 'green' wood that is 50,000 years old, but that is exactly what you can get your hands on right now.
These timbers are freshly recovered from the ground of New Zealand.
They are wet and ready to work.

This is a incredible opportunity for North American woodworkers.
It is rare to find any wood this dense and this big.



The grain in these timbers is constant and clear.
There also appears to be mild flame activity in them.
There will be the classic iridescent 'glow from within' when they are finished.

These timbers are each 12 feet long and we will cut to any length you request.
They are 9" square and 12" square.

These are available for $35 per board foot.
Be aware that shipping costs will be higher then usual, as these are very heavy!

Each timber, of course, comes with its own Certificate of Authenticity.
