Example of whitebait grain activity
What you are seeing. - This short film is displaying some of the shimmer that is found in the grain activity known as whitebait.
It is a grain activity that is only found in the ancient kauri and due to its unique iridescence is very difficult to capture on camera.
What you are seeing here is only a fraction of the whitebait effect that is seen in person, but it should help to give you an idea of how the grain behaves.
We are still working with different methods of filming and soon will have footage that can more actuatly display the full effect.

I can't find any video anywhere. I understand you are working on a better one but that there should be a preliminary one here and I would really like to see.
